In today’s episode, I am excited to have on the podcast, my good friend and fellow industry advocate Jeremy Woolward.
Jeremy is the safety compliance officer for Chariot Express, a local freight and hotshot service based in Calgary. Jeremy manages the company’s Occupational health and safety, National Safety Code, and WCB programs and is a certified H.S.A through the Alberta Construction Safety Association.
Jeremy is also in the preliminary stages of starting his own consulting agency, Pratum Caelum (PRAY-TUM KAY-LUM COMPLIANCE SERVICES) that will focus on helping companies that are working with the construction and transportation sectors, with the integration of their safety programs. Furthermore, Jeremy will focus on being a National Safety Code audit doctor.
In today's episode, Jeremy and I discuss the Certificate of Recognition (COR), National Safety Code (NSC), the options and benefits Carriers have to willingly enroll in the COR program, and the mandatory requirements of NSC, and more!
