Avery and I interview Darby Taylor, a 3 time special Olympics medal winner, and Thomas Cleal with Alberta Sheriffs and lead with LETR. During the conversation, we explore Darby's journey as a successful athlete, Thomas's involvement in a global initiative, and discuss the upcoming Truck Convoy for Special Olympics happening here in Calgary, Alberta on September 11th, 2021.
You see, Avery and I have been fortunate to attend 2 of these events so far and it has been an incredible experience. First off, seeing the amount of support our industry has for this great event is truly amazing. But when you reflect on the event and the main goal of the event, to help special Olympic athletes be able to compete, is absolutely incredible.
I believe today’s episode is a great listen for those interested in learning more about the Truck Convoy for Special Olympics, as we really want to ensure people attend this incredible event coming up on September 11th, 2021 here in Calgary, Alberta.
